Emergency road closures or advisories:
- Hwy 37, Stewart Cassiar Highway, is closed in both directions from Beaverdam Rest Area, approx. 82 kilometers south of the Yukon Border to British Columbia because of Forest Fire. - Motorists are reminded to reduce speed through loose gravel patches on highways throughout the Yukon. These gravels sections have reduced visibility in dust, and the loose gravel surface reduces traction at higher speeds. Check the Yukon 511 road report for current road conditions and be aware of gravel patches and road construction. Please drive safe and reduce speed through all gravel sections.
- The Taylor Highway is open from the Alaska Highway to the Top of the World Highway. Travelers will be able to reach the Top of the World Highway and the Canadian Border. The road is very rough so drive with extreme caution. Watch for personell and equipment on the road. The road to Eagle MP 95 to 160 will remain closed until further notice.
